Fermion-induced dynamical critical point

چکیده
Dynamical phase transition (DPT) characterizes the abrupt change of dynamical properties in nonequilibrium quantum many-body systems. It has been demonstrated that extra fluctuating modes besides conventional order parameter field can drastically equilibrium transitions. However, counterpart phenomena DPTs have rarely explored. Here, we study DPT Dirac system after a sudden quench, and find fermion fluctuations round putative first-order into critical point, which is referred to as fermion-induced point (FIDCP). also nonthermal universal short-time scaling behavior emerges despite goes through thermalization. In novel scenario FIDCP, Yukawa coupling $g_q$ indispensable for inducing FIDCP albeit irrelevant infrared scale. We call these variables {\it variables}. Moreover, tricritical separates discovered by tuning this variable. further mention possible experimental realizations.

متن کاملFermion Tunneling from Dynamical Horizons
The instability against emission of fermionic particles by the trapping horizon of an evolving black hole is analyzed using the Hamilton-Jacobi tunneling method. This method automatically selects one special expression for the surface gravity of a changing horizon. The results also apply to point masses embedded in an expanding universe. As a bonus of the tunneling method, we gain the insight t...
متن کاملDynamical Correlation Length near the Chiral Critical Point
The dynamical evolution of small systems undergoing a chiral symmetry breaking transition in the course of rapid expansion is discussed. The time evolution of the dynamical correlation length for trajectories passing through a second-order critical point is extracted. It is shown that while the maximum value of the correlation length is bound from above by dynamical effects, the time interval d...
متن کاملCritical Point Theorems for Nonlinear Dynamical Systems and Their Applications
We present some new critical point theorems for nonlinear dynamical systems which are generalizations of Dancš-Hegedüs-Medvegyev’s principle in uniform spaces and metric spaces by applying an abstract maximal element principle established by Lin and Du. We establish some generalizations of Ekeland’s variational principle, Caristi’s common fixed point theorem for multivalued maps, Takahashi’s no...
متن کاملField-induced quantum critical point in CeCoIn5.
The resistivity of the heavy-fermion superconductor CeCoIn5 was measured as a function of temperature, down to 25 mK and in magnetic fields of up to 16 T applied perpendicular to the basal plane. With increasing field, we observe a suppression of the non-Fermi liquid behavior, rho approximately T, and the development of a Fermi liquid state, with its characteristic rho=rho(0)+AT2 dependence. Th...
